Went to Weymouth for the tail end of "speed" week. Got out on Mike's 114JP Slalom and an 8.5 Lightning. Planed around for a while. Not very exciting but shifting along nicely. Board is good. Tough to tack though.

In the speed week boatyard there were some strange looking things. A tent on skis. A bathtub under a whilygig washing line.... A few boards about 5m long and 30cm wide.... Saw a frame thing getting towed out. It looked like a small oil rig.
